The Nest, The Nest of Eiderduck
Before the hatching, the Eiderduck stuffs its nest with the feathers of its chest, the most precious, to provide comfort and warmth to the babies and protect them from the stinging winds of the northern cliffs.
These feathers have the extraordinary ability to bind together, forming a round structure to avoid flying away. A few grams of this precious and rare down are hand-picked by the man after waiting that the animals leave their nests.
We have succeeded in imitating the eiderdown with very fine hole filaments, and with an exclusive technology we have reproduced the round structure of this down to offer the extraordinary warmth of the nest to everyone.
